Proggy is loved in developer circles for its simple but effective look, especially for C and C++ coding. There are also some character variants so you can fine-tune the font how you like it.įira Code is supported by most browsers, and you can see how it looks in the real-world code examples they provide. These ligatures exist for many programming languages.Īnd this doesn’t change any of the underlying characters themselves, how they look so that it won’t impact your code. The concept behind Fira Code is simple: The monospaced font is designed to combine those frequently used multi-symbol sequences into one, reducing the time it takes to scan over your code and find what you’re looking for.įor example, the not equals symbol (!=) turns into one equals symbol with a slash through it, the opening and closing symbols in HTML (</) are spaced closer together, and so on. The community loves and recommends these fonts, so feel free to download them and check them out. In the spirit of open-source, many designers have released their programming fonts for free, much of them on sites like GitHub. It’s almost like the game is congratulating you for finding the match with the points but also punishing you by making the game just a little harder. But, honestly, that’s a good chuck as to why HuniePop 2 is so fun! The only thing I don’t enjoy about the new stamina mechanic is how “big” moves, like matching four or more tokens drains more stamina. Having to balance between both girls and managing their stamina meter as well as taking note as to which girl’s favorite token to get the most points and also trying to ensure both girls have high enough Affection so that you’re not just relying on one girl can be hectic. So, basically, during the Match-3 “date” game, you’ll need to ration each girl’s stamina meters and match the most appropriate tokens to get the most amount of points, making each game a nice little balancing act of planning out what to do right at the moment and in the future. Performing too many actions with one of them will deplete it and they’ll be out temporarily. Also, you can’t just concentrate on one girl during the entire date as they have their own stamina meter. Matching the Broken Heart tokens will make them mad at you for a set amount of time so try to avoid doing that, okay? But it’s not that simple in HuniePop 2 because, as the name suggests (sorta), you’re dating two women at the same time!Įven though both girls will contribute to your overall score, some girls will give you more (or less) points depending on which tokens you match. You can match Heart (Passion) tokens to add a score multiplier to your matches for each girl and matching Teardrop (Sentiment) tokens will allow you to give gifts to your dates. You score Affection points by matching three or more tokens in a row or column and you try to reach the required amount of Affection before you run out of turns. The general Match-3 format is followed for the most part. While the dating sim and adult/hentai portions are relatively the same, the team at HuniePot put in some new gameplay mechanics into the Match-3 system that makes it much more hectic than the first game. It’s still this hyper addictive Match-3 puzzle game mixed with dating sim elements and some adult/hentai scenes for some added spice. HuniePop 2: Double Date plays almost exactly like the first game but with a few added twists to keep things interesting. I have to power through writing this because I really want to get back to playing! That should give you a good understanding of how good HuniePop 2: Double Date is. I’m actually forcing myself to write this up so I can finally review it after being delayed for this long. Before I knew it, I’m already a couple of days past the deadline. I could’ve wrote up a quick review about it… but I just wanted to play one more game. That took maybe one good gameplay session. I played HuniePop 2 and managed to wrap my head around the entire “double date” system. Well, things were going according to plan. I would need some time to play it and figure out the ins and outs (that’s what she said) of the gameplay and, like with the first HuniePop, I knew I would just need a few days to get a few hours under my belt to get a deep understanding of how to play it. I actually purchased HuniePop 2: Double Date and installed the “uncensored” patch on a Sunday with the hopes of getting a review out by the regular I’ll Review Anything schedule. This review was delayed for the silliest of reasons. The Tricksters left arm is a Persian-red, monstrous and large demon arm. The Trickster has dark-red gloves and knee-length, dark-red boots. Partnership/sponsor with Rick Astley (2001-2008) īy August 2001, Rick Astley made a 7-year partnership with Tattletail. in 2004, Waygetter released the sequel to that previous album called "I am the cute one", which won 4 Grammy awards for "Discography of the year". the song won 10 Grammy awards and was nominated thrice for "Hit of the year 1999". In March, their Fresh Prince and Tupac styled-rap song "Tattletail, that's me!" hit the top 10 list being on the first place on the Billboard charts, surpassing "Together Again" by Janet Jackson, "Macarena" by Los Del RIo and "Can't Touch This" by M.C. On February 1999, Waygetter teamed up with Warner Music group to make Tattletail's first album labeled "Tattletail: Fun Favorites". more movies were produced in 2007, 2010, 2011, 2014, 20 with a crossover with Little Captain EO on that same year. On April 2nd 2004, their second movie Tattletail: Follow the rainbow was released in both theaters and DVDs, with the first movie coming out on Blu-ray on July of the same year. After the success of the first film, Thomas Waygetter announced that a second movie will be released next year in 2004. On September 2003, the first film Tattletail: Adventures In Tattletopia skyrocketed to the box office with the amount of over $89,000,000,000 surpassing other movies that were released before or during that time. but due to recalls from 1998, she was replaced with a similar yet nicer version of her named Auntie Tattletail. Mama Tattletail was originally going to be in the movie. production started on May 27th 2001 with sketches of the animated character designs. In 2000, Waygetter Electronics announced that Tattletail would be getting a theoretical film released in all theaters by 2003. The name was changed to My Friend Tattletail, and the toy has changed to a toy more similar to a Talking Bubba toy. Hasbro lost the lawsuit, but Thinkway Toys and Waygetter still decided to change the toy to make it less similar to Furby Connect. After these emails were leaked Hasbro sued Thinkway Toys because of the Tattletail Encore's distinct similarities to their toy Furby Connect. They included early sketches and basic function concepts. In 2017, leaks revealed emails between Thomas Waygetter and Thinkway Toys discussing bringing back Tattletail with the name Tattletail Encore. This game will be called My Tattletail Friend: A Grand Adventure and will be released on IOS and Android devices on November 19th, 2018. It has been announced that a 3rd game will be released to coincide with My Tattletail Friend's release. In 2010, they released Baby Tattletail for the Wii and in 2016, they released, Tattletail: Mama's Coming! on Steam. Baby Talking Tattletail was being made and sold until 2009, when they lost popularity.īaby Talking Tattletail has had 2 games under the Waygetter Electronics name. The toy originally came in Purple, Blue, and Yellow, but they released in Black, White, Green, Red, and Orange later. The toy was known under this name until 2004 when it was renamed Educational Baby Talking Tattletail, and was given an extra feature. He decided that the next toy in the Tattletail line should be a Furby-like toy called Baby Talking Tattletail. The creator of Mama Tattletail, Thomas Waygetter, noticed that virtual pet toys were getting more popular than read along toys like Teddy Ruxpin. After Mama Tattletail was recalled and banned, Waygetter Electronics starting coming up with ideas for an alternative immediately. It was made to be a replacement toy to the banned first toy in the toy line, Mama Tattletail. 6 Partnership/sponsor with Rick Astley (2001-2008)īaby Talking Tattletail was created by Waygetter Electronics in 1998. It will also feature some of the world’s most famous stadiums, including some brand new to FIFA 22. Simply ask yourself this, are new kits and some roster changes worth over £40 to you? If you answered yes, then you have too much money.Powered by Football, EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Legacy Edition on Nintendo Switch featuring the latest kits, clubs, and squads from some of top leagues around the world. Nevertheless, charging full whack for a game when absolutely no effort went into is out of order. Putting it simply, there is still fun to be had with FIFA 20 Legacy Edition and playing against others online is still a joy. If it wasn’t for the online mode of FIFA 20 for Switch, I would never touch the game again after this review. It helps that I am not all that bad at the game and I don’t get as easily frustrated as you see some people do. Other than playing against friends, I could sit there and match up against random people online all day long. Playing against random people online is not always my cup of tea for all games, but on FIFA, it always has been. Again, not every mode is included within Kick Off on the Switch, such as the new ‘Mystery Ball’ mode. These are best when playing against a friend as it can create some hectic games. With Kick Off, you are able to set up different ‘house rules’ to make it a bit different than a typical game of football, such as goals scored from outside the box now counting as two and not having any fouls or offsides. In terms of what you are getting, the standard modes are there such as Kick Off, Ultimate Team and Skill Games. You can get last year’s game for less than half the price, so if you want to play FIFA on Switch, that is your best and cheapest option. The fact that it costs full price is ridiculous too, considering no effort has been made to improve the game in any way. Yes, it says ‘Legacy Edition’ on the front, but really, who would even know what that meant unless they have just read it in the paragraph above. Parents that want to buy the latest FIFA game for their kids are being fooled. The worst part about this whole thing, is EA knows fully well that people are going to buy this. To give players who have FIFA 18 and FIFA 19 for the Switch a reason to jump in again rather than trying to cash in on unware people, but they simply haven’t bothered. This was EA’s chance to give us another improved game, add all the modes the other consoles have. I felt that trend would keep happening every year and the gap between all versions would be getting smaller. What I have taken from this is that the difference between the Xbox One and PS4 version and the Switch version is getting bigger and bigger.Īfter I praised FIFA 18 and FIFA 19 for being the best handheld games ever to release on handhelds (Not that there is a great deal of competition). Therefore, I have had a decent amount of time with both versions of the game. I managed to get myself a free month of EA Access on the PS4, and with it comes 10-hour trials of new games, including FIFA 20. I haven’t played much FIFA on other consoles for years now – I did dip in and out if I visited a friend that had it – but this year is different. For those that don’t know, Volta football is the new big mode in FIFA 20 that is all about street football, with a variety of modes to choose from and even a small story to play through, all missing for Switch owners. Now unless I am missing something, that mode is nowhere to be seen. Whilst looking up just how much EA is charging for this reskin – I will come onto that in a moment – the retailer I found actually has Volta football listed as a feature for the Switch version. There are no new modes added, no new gameplay tweaks, nothing. You see, this year’s FIFA on Switch is a Legacy Edition, which just means that nothing new has actually been added to the game other than the new kits and updated player rosters, that is it. If you’re not clued up about the latest FIFA release on the Switch, firstly, EA probably loves you, and secondly, this is just FIFA 19 in disguise. Nonetheless, one of my emotions regarding the game certainly outweighs the other and it is not that hard to work out which it is. On the other hand, however, I do still find it quite fun to play online, not to the level I did the previous two years, but still fun. On one hand, I think that this is the single laziest game that has released on the Switch thus far. It is not often that a game I play gives me such contrasting emotions. Now that Odin’s removed that limitation from their afterlife, where do his ambitions cease? Though it does present a break with tradition – previously, Einherjar manifested their weapons according to their choices in life. Not that I’d like to give him credit for anything, but it only makes tactical sense – imbue the beasts, imbue the short-range weapons, imbue the arrows. This time, it’s in the form of long-range bolts shot from his Einherjar Arhcers. Odin’s experimentation with Bifrost energy continues to cause us trouble. Over the years I came to terms with my Bayesian heritage, and I now live my life as a secular Bayesian. I started having thoughts about model misspecification, kind of a taboo topic in the Bayesian church. I worked on weird stuff like loss-calibrated Bayes. I noticed nonparametric Bayesian models weren't automatically more useful than large parametric ones. There were scoring rules, loss functions which couldn't be written as a log-likelihood. I realised the likelihood was important, but not the only thing that exists. Over the years, I started to doubt more and more aspects of my Bayesian faith. I never forgot this encounter, but equally I didn't think much about it since then. You have to think your model really exists somewhere." This, however, only exists if your data and your parameters both exist, in the same $\sigma$-algebra. Then he told me the following, poisoning my pure Bayesian heart forever: "If you use Bayes' rule, you assume that a joint distribution between model parameters and data exist. "Do you believe your model and its parameters exist?" "Well, not really, it's just a model I use to describe reality" I said. "Do you believe your data exists?" - he asked. Possessed by deamonsĪt a convention dominated by Bayesian thinkers I was approached by a frequentist, let's call him Lucifer (in fact his real name is Laci so not that far off). But above all, we believed in our models. We scorned at point estimates, despised p-values. If an algorithm did not work, we shunned its creator for being unfaithful to Bayes. We looked at the world and all we saw the face of Bayes: if something worked, it did because it had a Bayesian interpretation. This particular place practiced the nonparametric Bayesian doctrine. I travelled the world and spent 4 years in a Bayesian monastery in Cambridge, UK. It all started to change when a great scientist took me under his wing and taught me the teachings of Bayes.
